Free Plans Inventory

TBS supports the ability to give customers "free time" in regards to usage based products. TBS supports a variety of Free Plan types including:

• Fax Messages
• Fax Sheets
• Voice Calls & Minutes
• SMS/Data Messages & Megs

Setting up Free Plans involves 3 steps:

Step 1 - Setup the Free Plan by first selecting the amount of free "items" that should be included in the plan. "Items" can be calls, minutes, fax sheets, fax messages, megs, etc. This is also where the plan is defined as Shared or not.

Step 2 - Next, setup the Free Message Bundle by selecting the types of usage that should be considered in the plan. An example may be a Message Bundle that includes three types of usage: Inter, Intra and Intralata. This would indicate that this type of traffic would be considered when applying free time.

Step 3 - Now that the amount of free time is defined (step 1) and the type of free time has been defined (step 2), it is time to create a Free Plan Bundle that combines these two together. So for instance, if Step 1 resulted in a 1000 Minute plan and Step 2 resulted in a LD Inter, Intra and Intralata plan, combining the two would result in 1000 Free LD Inter, Intra and Intralata minutes.

For Integrated Products, once the final Free Plan combo is setup, it must first be tied to a Charge & Plan record and then can be added to a Product.
